WALES PROJECT

The Wales Project is set in an older townhome in old Markham village; a kitchen transformation that shows how thoughtful design can totally change how a space feels and functions. Our clients are a really fun couple who arrived with the intention of showcasing their beloved memorabilia; some of their collection dates all the way back to their childhood! We think the result of this update is really cute! While the original kitchen was usable, it did not fully support the way the homeowners wanted to cook, gather, and most importantly feel while living in their space. Now the home feels brighter, more open, and more intentional, with every square foot designed to evoke a personal charm. This kitchen update wasn’t just about function, it was centered around bringing more personality into their home.

In the basement we wanted to mirror that intention, so we found ways to showcase his collection of marvel pieces, collectors items, and memorabilia. Now they have a home that highlights objects that speak to their personalities. The transformation is a vibe! It’s now a home that feels real cozy, inviting, playful and fun.
