SOME OF OUR BATHROOM TRANSFORMATIONS
I have come across an array of different bathrooms in need of a renovation, and I’m always so pleased with how they turned out. These rooms are often in need of an update in aging homes and when it comes time to renovate, my clients are often looking for more functionality with a fresh and modern look. Bathrooms should give a refreshing feel and practical design that not only make the room functional and comfortable, but also aesthetically pleasing to the home owner. Here are some of our favourite bathroom transformations!
BEFORE | LAURAVIEW PROJECT
Our clients from the Lauraview Project wanted a change of scenery from this bathroom with basic finishes and outdated fixtures. The room required a more modern aesthetic, which meant fixing the dim lighting, and switching out the large tub for something that was more functional for them. This bathroom needed a major upgrade, and that is exactly what we did!

This polished bathroom is now the perfect place to freshen up for the day. Our design really brightened up the space making it feel more spacious and lively. Using the space where the tub was, we decided to add some extra storage to fit the client’s needs. A modern feel was definitely achieved in this space, with all new finishes - new light fixtures, quartz counter top, faucets, shower enclosure and new tile both on the floor and the walls. We brought in neutral elements like the mirrors and accessories, which complimented the space beautifully with their warm tones, modern designs and textures.

MAIN BATHROOM
SECOND BATHROOM
For both of these bathrooms, our clients were needing a major upgrade for their space. The main bathroom was very basic and needed a refresh from the dull tones. The clients also wanted to update their small shower for a more spacious option. For the second bathroom, the space had a lot of outdated fixtures and only had a single sink for this two person bathroom. The clients clients wanted a more mature look with added functionality and storage.

MAIN BATHROOM
We gave this bathroom a complete makeover and accomplished our goal of a clean, modern looking design. With the bathtub gone and wall cleared, the more major upgrade in this space would have to be this spacious, glass shower enclosure. With the newfound space, we also gave this bathroom a cute vanity corner next to the window with a comfy stool.

SECOND BATHROOM
While keeping the layout the same, this bathroom is almost unrecognizable! In this space we achieved a more mature and clean look while still maintaining the pops of colour that made the space look more vibrant. So many things to love about this bathroom: updating the single sink to double sinks, the marble tiling, the new light fixtures and faucets, and the heated towel warmers!

For both of these spaces we paired the muted blue walls with modern marble tiling for a fresh bathroom aesthetic. This family wanted a clean, modern looking design that had sufficient storage to fit their needs. The medicine cabinets doubled as mirrors and storage space, which was perfect to conceal all the clutter on the counter while still being accessible.
BEFORE | TERRAGAR PROJECT
For this bathroom, the cramped layout was not ideal. The beige walls, dim lighting, and large tub was also not working for what the client wanted in their bathroom. A lot of the features in this room were outdated and needed an upgrade, both aesthetically and functionally.

The bathroom looks so much more spacious after the design, it’s almost hard to think it was the same space! This bathroom got the full head to toe makeover. The contrasting black and white framed mirrors perfectly compliment the white counters with black faucets. The marble tiling also gave the floor the slightest amount of texture to compliment the crisp white walls in the space. Speaking of space, the fixed bathtub was removed which opened up the room and was replaced with this smaller and much more modern tub. To add some colour, we added some cute, colourful plants and artwork. The attention to detail in this space really helped in giving it a cohesive look.
